Most profitable Adsense Websites

February 9th, 2010 by website

The internet is awash at any given time of day or night the world over with millions of people hungrily searching the net for information.

Being able to tap into the wealth of information seekers presents a massive opportunity for substantial online profits if you can provide that information.

Google’s Adsense program gives you a perfect opportunity to do just this but as with all things there’s a right and wrong way to do it.

It’s quick and simple to set up and it’s fast with your ads being seen by millions of others in as little as 15 minutes.

You can use Adsense to direct potential customers to the affiliate product you are promoting or your own website or blog.  If you are direct linking to a vendor’s product page then you won’t have any control over the content.  However, if you are directing searchers to your website or blog you need to make sure the content is relevant.

Using Adsense on your own website or blog requires a little planning.  Don’t fall into the trap of thinking the more ads the better – this is simply not true.  It is far better to have your Adsense block ‘above the fold’ so that when a visitor lands on your page the ads are immediately seen.  This has proven to increase click through rates.  If you litter your site with Adsense ads left right and centre bear in mind the ones are the top of the page are going to earn you more per click than those at the bottom of the page.  So it makes sense to have fewer immediately visible ads that earn you more per click.

Before you set up your Adsense sites make sure you research your intended topic or niche.  You can easily do this by using Google’s free keyword tool to find out if there is a demand for your intended topic. (https://adwords.google.co.uk/select/KeywordToolExternal).

Next do a little more research on Google to see if there are other sites in your niche using Adsense. This is a good indicator that there is a demand and therefore very likely profitable.

Make sure that you read Adsense Terms and Conditions thoroughly so that you understand what is and isn’t allowed.  Google will come down on you very hard if you break their rules and in some cases even ban your site.

Finally, don’t be too impatient.  Don’t expect your Adsense earnings to soar overnight.  The most important part at this stage if you are using Adsense on your own site or blog is the quality of the content.  Remember, if your content is rubbish then nobody will stay or revisit your site.  Without visitors to your site you’ve no hope of earning anything with Adsense.  So focus on the quality and relevancy of your content then if you have researched your topic or niche and there is a demand the Adsense earnings will follow!

Profitable Opportunities for Affiliates

January 31st, 2010 by website

One of the most profitable website opportunities for affiliates is to JV (Joint-Venture) with someone who is already established and successful online within your niche.

The problem is how do you go about this if you don’t have a product or list of your own? Or even if you do have a list of your own but it’s not that large?

There are ways around this and if you’re keen to sky-rocket your website profits it’s well worth the effort.

The first thing you need to do is research who the major players are in your chosen niche. Find out who is dominating that niche with their products and information. Copy the layout of their website.

Research the products and information they are selling or giving away and try to find an angle that compliments their product(s). This sounds hard but it is easier said than done.

Let me give you an example –what if you found a subgroup within the fitness and health industry that follow a particular type of diet or nutrition plan? You could quite easily and cheaply outsource the creation of a meal-planner/ food diary/calorie counter online spreadsheet.

Contact the website owner and offer it as a free complimentary tool for his list. Yes, free – you want to establish a relationship and credibility at this stage.

This is a win-win situation for both of you – the product owner wins by giving a freebie tool to his customers and you win by building your list.

This increases your presence, establishes your reliability and relationship with a top player in your niche.

From this point you can then approach other JV partners since you now have a list which you should continue to grow and nurture.

If you’re looking ahead long-tem and you should be if you want to build JV partnerships this is your starting point. You could even start to create your own product or partner with an expert in your niche to create one and split the profits from the sales made.

There are endless opportunities that you could explore and I would certainly recommend joining forums within your niche to find out what people are looking for and interested in and to seek out other possible JV opportunities.

Another way for Joint-Venturing is if you have discovered a new method or had particular success with a method that you have used relating to your niche. Product owners are always interested in results that have taken their methods to the limit and will often be happy to work with you to expand it further and create an add-on to their product sharing the resulting profits.

If you go down this line though, make sure you have the proof and results to back-up your findings otherwise you will instantly damage your reputation and credibility within your niche. You’ll find it hard to create your website, and even tougher to make it successful.

New Website Ideas for 2010

January 29th, 2010 by website

Now that 2010 is under way you may be considering what websites will prove profitable for affiliates in the coming year.

Whilst it’s true to say that niches come and go there are also some die-hard niches that continue to perform no matter what the economic condition is, and no matter what your site is about.

A few such niches are:

fitness and health, online dating, online games, making money online

You may well ask why these niches continue to perform in fact it seems like a bit of a paradox really but let’s take a closer look at the reasons these websites perform so well.

The fitness and health niche is largely down to the ‘baby boomers’ who are now in middle age if not entering their senior years. This group of people have residual cash since their own offspring have left home and mortgages are all paid up. In particular this group of people are happy to spend their cash on staying as young as possible with nutrition, exercise and a generally healthy lifestyle.

Online dating continues to soar as a way of meeting new friends and lifelong partners. In fact it has been said that in the next 5-10 years this will become the preferred way of meeting a potential partner simply because of the ability to search for the exact type of person you would like to meet.

Online games are a firm favourite with the increasing number of homes with pc’s. The inclusion of ICT as part of the national school curriculum as young as the age of 5 has also increased the number of younger people using online games by way of entertainment.

Making money online continues to be a mainstay particularly in the current economic climate. Many households are seeking ways to make an extra few hundred dollars each month whilst others seek to escape the rat race completely. Their first port of call is online with thousands upon thousands of money-making opportunities.

The golden nugget here is not to dive into these niches blindly. They are immensely profitable but they are also highly competitive and if you don’t do your research you will get ‘eaten up’.

Your aim should be to research each niche and try to find a small sub niche within one of them that has a demand. You can easily find the most profitable sites this way.

An example of this might be to look at online games and focus on one game and one aspect of that game. As long as there is a demand for that product you will profit but remember to do your research before you setup your website.

And the same holds for any niche that you want to enter as an affiliate to create your profitable website.

Use Google as your first port of call and do a search on your chosen sub niche. If you can find other affiliates promoting that product regularly it’s a good indicator that the niche is profitable.

Time spent doing a little research in the beginning will reward you handsomely with affiliate profits.

Building your first affiliate website

January 24th, 2010 by website

It’s easy to create an affiliate or company website.

The first thing you’ll need to do is pick a domain name – which is your dot.com address. Any domain registrar on the net will sell you one of these, often for as little as $10. Then you need hosting – a place to physically host your site on the net.

Finally, you need to create your site.

Wix is a great place to create profitable websites – just pick one of the templates available and get to work. Also, most hosting companies include basic webpage templates with their packages, which cuts out the cost of buying a professional web designer.

But just because you have a website, doesn’t make it a guaranteed success. That’s true whether you have an affiliate site or a website for your own company. And that brings us to the final point. If you want to generate consistent sales, you really need to look at what’s working out there.

The templates you get from your host may look nice – but that doesn’t mean they will generate sales for you.

So how do we separate the moneymakers from the duds? It’s easy.

Just study existing websites on the market – do a few searches for keywords that relate to your niche, and check out any advertisers. Pay close attention to anyone advertising consistently – these are the most profitable websites on the net. And you should refer to what they are doing – the headers they use, the colour scheme, their HTMl code, images they upload – basically everything that they have done to create their webpages.

And one final point: remember that affiliate marketing is very much an evolving game. The few websites that generate profit today may well fail to be profitable tomorrow.

Profitable websites – the easy way

January 1st, 2010 by website

What are the most profitable websites to create?

Affiliate websites of course.

Affiliate marketing is selling someone else’s product in return for a commission. So, you send people through your “affiliate link” on your site, they buy you and you are credited with a commission – sometimes as much as 75% of the product price.

So in a nutshell, affiliate marketing means you don’t need your “business” with staff, overheads, etc. You can basically get started for just a few dollars and without any technical knowledge. All you need is a website to start making money. This all makes affiliate marketing the most profitable way to go.

So how do you create your affiliate websites? You can do it manually, using a HTML editor and FTP or you can do it via a third party tool,or even a blog/CMS such as WordPress. There are thousands of options open to you, but setting up your website doesn’t need to be tough in any way shape or form.
